    Ideal place for exploring Cluj-Napoca. Fairly clean hotel in a good location with magnificent views across town. 20 minutes' drive to the airport. Neat units and very attentive staff that looked like the manager.

    The restaurant food is good. The breakfast offered is great with mozzarella, cake, cheese. The staff is very attentive; they looked like the manager. The location is magnificent and peaceful; it couldn't be beaten.

    The location is wonderful, just 5 minutes walk to the city center.The luxurious spa center is situated at 6th floor and have a beautiful panoramic view of the city. Excellent hotel, great services, friendly staff, the room was modern and confortable, i would definitely recommend it.

    Where to start? The receptionists were gorgeous with great English, very informative and polite, they even called us to ask if we wanted a late check out, the hotel staff very visible and always keen to help. Stayed in the Executive 4th floor , access to drinks 24/7 and fruit and a very nice early dinner around 4:30pm, breakfast was good, small selection but good. Room was clean and nice, great to have AC. Gym and Pool were excellent and well maintained. Location was close to the centre of town. One of the best hotels I have stayed in, I absolutely recommend staying here at Akantus Hotel, we will definately stay here in the future.

    The room was spotlessly clean and warm with a balcony, a comfortable bed, and a tub. the location was marvelous, with Cluj-Napoca Tailors' Bastion Tower just a short walk away. - All the staff was polite and resolved any issues I had.

    New and modern comfortable facilities in a clean environment. Excellent beds and clean linen, with nice extras.

    The temperature control in all our rooms was not working properly and we were all TOO HOT at night. The only help was opening the door which we felt unsafe to leave open while sleeping. Also, the drains of the showers and the sinks didn't drain properly leaving a large puddle of water to stand in while showering.

    The hotel with helfull and kindly staff. Room was spacious and with new furniture. Breakfast was variety and very good. I recommend the swimming pool and sauna in the highest level. It is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is also underground garage. That means no problem for car parking. The localisation of the hotel is not direct in the centre but near the main road from Turda (not highway). It is really very good hotel corresponding with 4 stars level.

    It's new and has a nice pool and fitness center, with a view.

    The price is to high for what it is. The design of the rooms is not what you would expect. More like a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is not oppulent like in other cheaper hotels in Cluj.
